After slowly being driven out of their natural homelands, dragons have gradually drifted toward sanctuary in the form of a vanishing drifter continent. It disappears in one area and later reappears someplace else, allowing dragons from opposite corners of the world to find a safe haven. Based off of various myths from around the globe, this otherworldly environment is meant to be a paradise.
If only it were so simple...
While initially benign, the system of leadership grows more and more corrupt, usually selecting dragons from only one clan to become king, while choosing the seemingly submissive dragons as the remaining regional leaders. Unfortunately, the corruption runs even deeper than that, creating a never ending cycle that merely frustrates the different clans. Unfortunately, the longer this persists, the closer the clans get to war. Groups of radicals are rumoured to have begun planning action. Exactly what they intend to do, however, is completely unknown.
